Spain attracted 19 inbound renewable energy investment projects in 2018, the most in Europe and almost double second-placed France’s total
Spain was the leading country in the Americas for inbound renewable energy investment in 2018, witnessing 19 projects.
France was next up, with 11, while Russia saw 10 projects last year.
The UK attracted nine renewable energy projects in 2018, narrowly more than The Netherlands, which saw eight.
