Real estate sector Asia-Pacific's leading job creator
Almost a quarter of a million jobs were created in the real estate sector in the Asia-Pacific region in the first six months of 2018.
The real estate sector created more jobs in in Asia-Pacific in H1, 2018, than any other industry, adding 227,566 new positions in the first six months of the year.
Software and IT services was next largest, with 93,452, narrowly ahead of electronic components, which created 89,171 jobs in the region.
The automotive OEM sector employed an additional 64,951 staff, while business services added 53,968 in the first half of the year.
